KTDR's Investment Team

Andy brings 10+ years of experience in the healthcare, technology, consulting, and finance industries and is excited to join KTDR as an Operating Partner. 

Previously, Andy completed the Strategic Leadership Development Program at Edwards Lifesciences, the leader in structural heart and critical care technologies. His rotations included strategic planning, business development, digital marketing, and product launch assignments in each of Edwards’ core business units and he was based in Irvine, CA and Nyon, Switzerland. Prior to Edwards, Andy spent a summer MBA internship at Amazon on the Prime team focused on customer acquisition and retention strategies. 

His pre-MBA experience includes leading business operations and strategy projects at National Veterinary Associates – the second largest owner of veterinary clinics and pet resorts in the United States – where he was responsible for strategic pricing, acquisition due diligence and integration, and developing new business lines. Andy started his career as an economic consultant at Analysis Group with engagements in the real estate, finance, and technology sectors. 

Andy received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his BS in Business Administration and BA in International Relations from the University of Southern California. He is also a CFA Charterholder.

Phil brings 5+ years of experience working with several private equity and investor groups in the lower-middle and middle markets with experience across various industries. He is primarily responsible for sourcing and evaluating acquisition opportunities.

Prior to joining the KTDR team, Phil was on the investment team and led deal origination efforts for El Toro Capital Management, Ardenton Capital, and Crest Point. Prior to his work in private equity and pursuing his JD/MBA, Phil founded and operated Easy-“A”-Tutors, a small private tutoring business in Los Angeles.

Phil received his MBA from Claremont Graduate University and his JD from Southwestern Law School. He currently resides in Denver and enjoys spending time in the outdoors, playing music, and cycling.
